Support #GetYourBellyOut

DONATE LOOSE CHANGE

#GetYourBellyOut is listed as a Community Interest Company which means that we can now accept donations in order to sustain and safeguard the future of the campaign. Kind donations made to #GetYourBellyOut will enable us to continue the work we do in order to provide support to people affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease . So If you would like to make a financial contribution then here’s how…

BECOME A FUNDRAISING SUPERSTAR
Kevin bravely became our first ever marathon fundraiser when he took on the Great North Run in aid of GetYourBellyOut CIC to support those affected by Crohn’s Disease & Ulcerative Colitis.

Speaking about his challenge he said “It feels a bit surreal. It was nice to not be part of the mass of people all wearing the same bibs – #GetYourBellyOut even got a shout out at the start which was cool!” – Kevin Mcmenamin

We’re extremely grateful to Kevin for having chosen to support us and comforted to know that despite the monumental challenge he hasn’t been deterred from taking on more grueling events in the future.

DONATE UNWANTED OSTOMY SUPPLIES
We put a call out asking if our community had any surplus ostomy supplies laying around the house that they had no need for anymore (perhaps they had ordered samples or had since had their reversal surgery). Instead of disposing of these into landfill as is so often the case, #GetYourBellyOut CIC with the help of our amazing community were able to help a little boy in the Philippines who was desperate for supplies.

“Thank you so much Ian, Allannah and to all the people behind for the 4 years supply of colostomy bags, creams and stoma powder for Kharl. You are all a blessing from above. Thank you so much for the love and kindness. Thank you so much to the

GetYourBellyOut family for all your help” – Gemma, Kharl’s auntie.

Thanks to your generous support, #GetYourBellyOut were also able to contribute towards the shipping costs of this very special package and are feeling very proud of our generous IBD community. For the time being we are still accepting surplus ostomy supplies so please contact us for more info.

If you would like to volunteer your time, can offer a unique skill or service in order to support #GetYourBellyOut then please get in touch as we would love to hear from you!
