We ditched the festive card-swapping tradition and did something amazing instead. For Christmas, we gave the gift of dignity!

The mission was to gather surplus ostomy supplies (that would otherwise be destined for landfill) and ship these to a wonderful charity called Hospice of hope to help ostomates in desperate need and to raise funds towards the shipping fees. Any additional funds raised during this appeal will be invested into the Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis community via GetYourBellyOut CIC.

The surplus ostomy supplies you sent during our two previous Christmas Appeals enabled us to donate 61 boxes full for HospicesOfHope to distribute to countries such as Albania, Moldova and Romania and generous donations helped cover the shipping costs to ensure these arrived safely.

BUT, together, we think there’s more that we can achieve and make an even greater impact so do send your surplus items directly to them.
