DONATE A TICKET – Each year we are overwhelmed with our communities generosity as a handful of members kindly ask if they can donate a ticket to someone else. We have therefore set up this easy & straightforward method to allow these wonderful individuals to do just thatcommunity
APPLY FOR A DONATED TICKET – If your financial situation isn’t great and you could benefit from receiving a donated ticket, please apply here. Your details will remain confidential.
Don’t get me wrong there was nerves, anxiety in the build up and even on the journey but on arrival there was a warm embrace, a friendly smile and straight off you are made to feel welcome. Thank you for that opportunity and giving me friends that no matter what in life I can call friends unconditionally x’ – Kevin
The evening consists of…
A hot and cold buffet with a yummy dessert, the menu has been designed with IBD and ostomates’ dietary requirements in mind. However, if you do have any medical dietary requirements, please email us here before the 5th of March 2026.
There will be a photo booth, our favourite DJ, dancing, a few thank yous, maybe a game or two and some extra surprises for you all to enjoy. Whilst there will be hundreds of bellies in attendance, don’t worry there are plenty of loos and a free cloakroom if you need to bring any extra bits with you.
Additional icebreaker social activity on Friday night (TBC 2026) for party guests – TBC
In addition to Saturday’s Sunflower ball, we traditionally host a heavily subsidised evening activity (usually bowling) for guests who choose to stay the night before as a fun icebreaker and an opportunity to get to know one another. You must purchase Saturday’s party ticket before reserving your space on the coach for Friday night’s social activity. Spaces are limited, so first come first served. Details of Friday night’s Ice Breaker Activity ‘to be confirmed’ TBC.
Guests preferred hotel accommodation is Travelodge Birmingham Airport which acts as a great meeting point during people’s stay. Many people meet in the bar area of the hotel on the Friday evening and Saturday day which is the perfect opportunity to get to know some guests in preparation for Saturday evening’s event.
In previous years guests have chosen to stay the weekend with partygoers arriving at the hotel from the Friday.
***We strongly recommend you book your hotel accommodation early as the costs fluctuate/skyrocket as the date gets closer***
Previously, parking at this hotel consists of a daily rate of £10.00 – this rate is only available if you pre-book 12 hours in advance of your arrival! Use code TRAVELODGE7 or TL7271
Please shop around for cheaper accommodation! Alternative nearby hotels would be Travelodge Yardley or Travelodge Solihull both of which have free parking. You might also like to consider renting on AirBnB if visiting as a group.
We can’t wait to make even more amazing memories with you all!
Remembering dear friends…
During our 10th ball in 2024 we paused to pay tribute to our dear friends and to plant a purple shrub in remembrance of all the brilliant, inspiring and charming bellies we have had the pleasure to know over the last decade but who are sadly no longer with us ![]()
We did so in a manner only fitting to those we knew well. Full of laughter and stories shared of times had together which will be treasured and talked about for a lifetime.
We know you will all have fond memories of loved ones and were keen to remember them all in very special ways, but we are delighted that the National Conference Centre in Solihull granted us the opportunity to remember all those who have had a profound impact upon us at such a meaningful location – where we got to meet and spend time together during the GetYourBellyOut balls.
This was the fairest gesture we could think of which was inclusive of everyone who has touched our lives.
Please do visit and pay your respects if you happen to be passing. The memorial plaque is located towards the front of the car park next to the large tree as pictured.
With special thanks to the hundreds of ‘bellies’ who turned out in support for GetYourBellyOut’s…
